Our recent pre-wedding in Mt. Pinatubo using an Iphone 8
And so we got this new phone a few weeks back and the idea of shooting an entire pre-wedding on an Iphone 8 have crossed our mind along with the big question, can we pull it off?
The answer, we definitely did!
It was such a weird feeling having directing couple poses while holding just only a phone, but then we find it as a challenge. Surprisingly the new Iphone 8 kicks ass with it’s dynamic range and it’s new bokeh features. The results were amazing. The resolution was also solid, we can print the photos on our usual 10×15 prints without any loss. The image HDRs and the optical stabilization rocks too. The mobile phone cameras are truly catching up with the professional cameras. We were pretty amazed with how the color vibrance came out too. Spectacular.

Arvin and Cherry Zambawood Pre-Wedding
Almost 4-hour drive from Manila, we finally set foot on Zambawood (Luxury Beach Resort) in San Narciso, Zambales. The place was as beautiful, quiet, and cozy as advertised(googled). For us, it was the perfect venue for a pre-wedding shoot. Yes, yes, yes we might be the nth photographer who shot a prenup at Zambawood, but hey it was our first time, hence the excitement! It was also our first time to have worked with Cebu-based prenup stylist, Geof Lagria, who by the way was loudly creative and a true master of his craft. We genuinely love working with him. It was a fun collaboration. The end result was nothing less than spectacular. We were given good spots, good lighting, awesome poses, an always-game couple, and a golden hour to cap off our shoot. It was certainly one for the books! Enjoy the photos, Arvin and Cherry!

Janver and Peach: Colors and Pre-Wedding
Pardon us if we isolate these super-fun-color-throwing-photo-session. We just love it. The shoot was our kind of perfect, the vibrance, the love, the simplicity. Again, nothing fancy. We got them natural. We got the laughter. We got the emotions. “Makulay ang buhay kapag nagmamahal”, indeed. Hats off to you guys! See you in two-weeks time!
MJ and Tin Pre-Wedding
Let us start the year by sharing snapshots of one of our most anticipated weddings for 2016! We’ve met MJ (and Tin) when Joanne and I volunteered to take photos for Diksyunaryo ATBP. MJ, also volunteer, is the frontman of this wicked-loud-and-poetic band, Guerilla Tactics. He is your typical underground rakista, OPM-loving, environmentalist, and a super cool dude. He organizes benefit gigs for reaching out to Mangyan kids of Sablayan, Mindoro – his hometown. Most of you might generously give a smile when you see his photos below, and the reality of him getting hitched (very) soon. We love talking to MJ, and his vision of KKK – Ka-taas-taasan Ka-galang-galangan Kasalan ng Bayan. Anyway, we, along with 4:30 Films are excited for your big day. See you soon, brother!
